Who Would Have Thought Charlotte Would Kill the LA Lakers?

Sportsbooks get the odds pretty right most of the time… That’s how they make money, right? Well when I checked the odds for the Charlotte Bobcats verses LA Lakers game, the odds were sitting at +12.5. That means that even if the Bobcats lost by a massive 12 points, they would still win the bet. Obviously, this is a definite sign that it’s the weak thrown to the lions type-of-stuff. I mean, geez, if their wiling to give you 12 points to take the bet, they must be pretty confident, right?

So when I got my email from John (Morrison) , operator of SportsBettingChamp, for the Bobcats to win, I thought he had finally lost his mind. After some contemplation, (about 3 seconds), I decided to proceed with his recommendation. So what happened?… Well, they didn’t lose by 12points, 11 points, 10 points or even 5 points… They won, and won by a convincing and demoralizing (for the Lakers anyways) 13 point lead to finish triumphantly 108-95. I just wish I had bet more, but hey, these things are always easy to judge in hindsight. The win made it the 77th winning pick this season conceding only 1 loss for SportsBettingChamp, and the 504th winning pick in the last 4 years of NBA & MLB seasons including this season, whilst only conceding a ridiculous 15 losses. .

So, back to the game. Check out the action on the right; - Lamar Odom #7 of the Los Angeles Lakers jumps to block the shot of Jason Richardson #23 of the Charlotte Bobcats during the first half of their game at Staples Center on March 26, 2008 in Los Angeles, California. Both teams were up for the face-off and Charlotte won the 1st quarter 27-24. For a team that would win the bet even if losing by 12 points, this was … unusual, but hey, it was only the 1st quarter and the Lakers were probably just warming up…

The 2nd quarter started and Charlotte took it 30-20 hushing the Lakers home crowd reflecting on the half time score of 57-44 to the Bobcats by 13 points. The 3rd got the Lakers back into the game, but only competitively for entertainment purposes as they gallantly only lost another 1 point trailing 24-25, and then putting up a 27-26 4th fight but at that time, I don’t think the Bobcats were really trying too hard after amazingly taking the game 108-95.

Who would have thought, eh? Well, thank goodness I’m on the subscriber list of SportsBettingChamp cause if I wasn’t, I probably would have been just another loser betting on the Lakers to win, and losing. If you want to join the winners (trust me, it’s more fun) then check out the testimonials and sign up with an 8 weeks money-back guarantee so you really do have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
