Yep, the NBA season still has a few games to go but it's over for Sports Betting Champ. That's right - we're officially finished with the NBA... till next season. This is how the game went down... The 1st quarter saw a passionate Hornets team win 37-28 with a nice 9 point lead. The 2nd quarter was pretty even with New Orleans still able to just maintain their dominance winning 32-30 and taking their lead to 11 points finishing halftime 69-58. So far, so good but as always with basketball, anything can happen pretty damn quickly so I was anxiously excited about the 2nd half especially as it was scheduled as the last game played by SportsBettingChamp subscribers for the season and a game that would obviously affect the final success rates. 79-1 sounds a lot better than 78-2, right?
The 2nd half started and the Hornets really stole the quarter absolutely annihilating the Raptors with a 32-21 beating and doubling their lead to a very healthy 22 points. The 4th quarter saw Toronto claim the consolation with a 32-17 win but at this stage, the game was pretty-much won and the New Orleans Hornets walked proudly off the court with a 118-111 victory that they, their fans and the punters can celebrate.

Quickly recapping the last 5/5 wins as promised. On Friday March 28; (1) Nashville beat Columbus 2-0 with both scored in the 2nd period. (2) Montreal beat Buffalo 4-3 winning a tense and dead-even game in overtime with the scores going 0-0,1-1,2-2,1-0 (3) Edmonton losing to Colorado in Shoot Out but still winning the bet on the +1.5 spread. The score went down 2-2,2-1,0-1,0-0,1-3.
On Sunday March 30, both games were actually lost but like the Edmonton game, both bets were won on +1.5 spreads. The games were; (4) Boston Bruins Vs Buffalo with the game going to overtime on a 1-1 tie with Buffalo's Sekera taking the winning goal. (5) Columbus Blue Jackets Vs Chicago going to Shoot Out with the 19 year old, Patrick, disappointing Columbus fans. The game was super-exciting going down 2-1,1-2,1-1,0-0,0-1.
So, the NBA is over for us, and only a couple of games remaining in the NHL. What now?... MLB of course.
