The next day on the 5th of August, their were 2 games being played. The 1st game was between Tampa Bay Rays verses Cleveland Indians. The next game that day was New York Mets verses San Diego Padres with the Mets being favored to win which they did by a single run in a really exciting 6-5 finish. This game was a slaughter with Detroit easily wining 10-2 with 7 of their runs coming in the 7th and 8th. Here's how it looked with Oakland batting first; 1-0, 0-1, 0-1, 1-1, 0-0, 0-0, 0-3, 0-4, 0-x. On the 10th of August, we were treated to a super-exciting game between Kansas City Royals and the Minnesota Twins with the Royals just managing to win the game 5-4. Here's how the final score looked like after an exhausting 12 innings. Minnesota bat first up; 0-0, 0-0, 2-0, 0-0, 0-0, 0-2, 2-0, 0-2, 0-0, 0-0, 0-0, 0-1. Whoa! The next day on the 11th of August, the pick was for the Minnesota Twins against the New York Yankees with a 4-0 washout. The final 2 games were on the 18th and 19th of August with the Texas Rangers against the Detroit Tigers, and the New York Mets against the Atlanta Braves. First up, Texas actually lost against Detroit however as they were rated the underdog during selection, the bet was on the run-line which allows a team to lose by 1 run and still win the bet.
